Mark Henry berated the WWE Universe on Main Event, blaming them for his loss to Rusev on Raw.

The World’s Strongest Man apologised to fans in the wake of his defeat to The Super Athlete at Night of Champions, but refused to say sorry for his reverse to the Bulgarian Brute on Monday.

WWE: Late Night - Smackdown

Henry, instead, stated that his supporters were at fault for his humbling, suggesting they coaxed him into a rematch with Rusev while he was still dealing with the injuries he accrued a night earlier.

The Texan’s frequent tag-team partner, Big Show, then headed to the ring to appease Henry, before vowing to best Rusev when the two powerhouses collide on Friday’s Smackdown.

Dean Ambrose, meanwhile, came out fighting for the third time in as many days, following his re-emergence at Night of Champions and subsequent attacks on The Authority on Raw.

The Lunatic Fringe guested on MizTV but when he gave vague answers about how he slipped out of a locked room on Monday, The Miz became enraged – and that didn’t bode well for him.

The Awesome One’s frustration only served to fire up Ambrose, who hit the former Intercontinental Champion with Dirty Deeds and clocked the Clevelander’s stunt double, Damien Miz-dow, too.

Elsewhere, in the evening’s matches, there were victories for the effervescent Kofi Kingston, dethroned Divas Champion Paige and the bullfighting tag team of Los Matadores.

Kingston followed in the footsteps of Jack Swagger by defeating Bo Dallas, while Paige downed Naomi, before she was smacked with the Divas Championship by new belt holder AJ Lee.

Plus, Los Matadores grapplers Diego and Fernando profited from Heath Slater and Titus O’Neil being distracted by the presence of Adam Rose and his Exotic Express in the commentary booth, flooring “Slater Gator” with a high cross body.
