Grigor Dimitrov breezed through his second-round clash at the Istanbul Open with a 6-3 6-2 win over Andrey Golubev.

The second seed from Bulgaria did not face a single break point, taking three of the 11 he carved out, as he closed out victory in one hour and four minutes.

Dimitrov will take on Croatia's Ivan Dodig in the quarter-finals after he came out on top in a hard-fought match with Serbia's Dusan Lajovic, winning 5-7 7-6 (7-1) 6-4.

Third-seeded Uruguayan Pablo Cuevas bounced back from dropping the first set to see off Russian qualifier Teymuraz Gabashvili 4-6 6-4 6-4.

Cuevas will meet Thomaz Bellucci in the next round after the Brazilian beat Denis Istomin from Uzbekistan 7-6 (7/4) 6-3.
