Kei Nishikori, one of the brightest prospects in world tennis and the Barcelona Open champion, begins the defence of his crown on Tuesday afternoon.
You can check out the world No 5 in action, live on Sky Sports 3 from 12.30pm, as he returns to the clay court settings where he confirmed his arrival into world contention last April.
Nishikori is tasked with beating Russia’s Teymuraz Gabashvili in the afternoon’s standout match-up.
Elsewhere, sixth-seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga will meet Marcel Granollers while seventh-seed Roberto Bautista Agut faces Thomaz Bellucci.
Tommy Robredo, the Barcelona Open winner 11 years ago and now the ninth seed, will play Mikhail Kukushkin.
Tune in from 12.30pm on Sky Sports 3 to watch Nishikori begin his defence of the Barcelona Open crown.
