Heather Watson became the second British woman to reach the second round of Wimbledon after clinching a 6-3 6-2 win over Ajla Tomljanovic.
The 22-year-old impressively brushed aside her opponent, who is ranked seven places above the British No 1, to join Naomi Broady in round two.
In the first set Watson converted her only break point in the second game while saving all four break points earned by Tomljanovic.

Zagreb-born prospect Tomljanovic certainly possessed the power and quality to be a threat to Watson but the home hope refused to be pushed back.
While Tomljanovic was going for too much Watson was picking her shots wisely, with one forehand down the line in the fifth game of the second set being a particular highlight.
By that stage she was already a break up and she broke again before closing out the straightforward win, which sets up a meeting with ninth seed Angelique Kerber.
"I have had a good run, and coming to Wimbledon with confidence I really wanted to make the most of it," Watson said.
"So I was a bit nervous going on to court. I struggle to eat before I go on, and actually my jaw was locking and I couldn't even bite through my banana.
It was a great experience, I've only been on the court before as a fan, so it was nice to get out there.
"But it was good. Once I got on court, I got moving. I made sure I moved my feet a lot in the warm-up to get going, and as soon as we started playing, I got into it.
"I always get nervous before I go on, sometimes more than others, this being one of them. But it's becoming normal now, so I just get used to it."
Fellow Brit Samantha Murray failed to join Watson in round two after she was beaten 6-1 6-0 by former champion Maria Sharapova on Court One.
World No 247 Murray was not expected to be competitive against the newly-crowned French Open champion and lasted just 58 minutes before succumbing to the Russian.
Murray was left to rue three missed break-point chances in the first set as she was outclassed despite displaying some decent groundstrokes.
"I'm going to have to go back to playing lower tournaments to try to build my ranking, to get back here in my own right," the wild-card entrant said.
"It was a great experience, I've only been on the court before as a fan, so it was nice to get out there. I've been here so many years and watched all the top players play, I'm a big tennis fan."
The other British woman in action on Tuesday, Tara Moore, was level at 4-6 7-6 (7-3) with former world No 2 Vera Zvonareva before play was suspended for the evening.
