Verdict

Ger Lyons: "He's a nice horse, we've taken our time but his pedigree speaks for itself. We were hoping he'd finish in the first four and go on and win a maiden. I'll have to discuss it with the boys but I wouldn't be surprised if we put him away until next year. He wouldn't want mucky winter ground. We could look at something like the Beresford Stakes but obviously that would be ground dependent. He wants every yard of a mile now and will be a be nice mile-and-a-quarter horse next year."
