        Verdict

        Grey Boy is the tentative suggestion here with Mugeba, Whistleupthewind, Grand Vizier and Billy Red amongst others with chances. The selection can be forgiven his latest run as he went lame but he's presumably over his problems now and his yard is enjoying a decent run of form. His penultimate start saw him only beaten by half a length and he's well handicapped on his form of a couple of years back. Mugeba has won four times here and from an equivalent mark and she just has to be on the short-list with her yard also saddling plenty of winners at present. Grand Vizier beat a promising sort at Great Leighs last time and would have been selected but for the fact that he has been below par on each outing on turf. Marmooq is considered, Whistleupthewind could get involved if ready to go whilst Billy Red looks to be running into form. A competitive race is in prospect and Grey Boy only rates a hopeful selection.
