It is through the lack of feasible alternatives that leads us to side with MOON MELODY in this conditional jockeys handicap hurdle ahead of Magpie while Golden Square should represent some value for each-way backers. With his jumping having been found out a little when chasing the selection now reverts to life back over timber. Despite his indifferent form over the big obstacles he did manage a close call off of this mark so now back in his preferred sphere he should go well. Tim Vaughan didn¿t do his usual trick of taking one from another yard and getting it to win first time for him with Magpie last time. Based on his maiden and novice form he's well weighted so if the Welsh handler can squeeze out some improvement he should figure. Golden Square has a decent shot at some prize money now at a nice looking mark while Esteem showed some encouraging signs last time so has to be considered if overcoming a three pound mark rise. Not a lot of good form on display here and as such Moon Melody should call the tune.
