This is another tricky race but we will give one more chance to Ranavalona, who is preferred to Kings Shillings and Mick Is Back. The selection has been knocking on the door of late and he can finally get his head in front today. He is eased in grade today, has the plum draw and the very capable William Buick taking 5lbs off his back. He looks a solid bet in a race that will not take much winning. Kings Shillings was a little disappointing last time in a race that hasn't worked out all that well. The drop in trip should help him today but he can't be fancied from his wide draw. Mick Is Back is another that is dropped in trip but he also has a terrible draw which tempers confidence. Lady Cartuccia ran well last time when finishing third behind Strike Force and this filly remains open to plenty of improvement. However, this looks a golden opportunity for Ranavalona who is taken to land the prize.
