EMELL looks more than capable of talking advantage of his weight-for-age allowance in this as he's already finished second twice in this grade this year over 7f. He was second on his only previous try over this trip. Questioning won a Group 3 last year and finished second in a Group 2 shortly after but he's gone backwards since and only beat one home at York two weeks ago. French Navy hasn't raced since November and would prefer softer ground but stablemate Lockwood would have a chance on his best form, though has also been off the track for a while. Oojooba has a couple of placed efforts to her name in this grade but probably has a bit to find at the weights overall.
