Tobermory can follow up her debut win at the expense of the other topweight Reebal, Another True Story and Oldjoesaid in what appears to be a competitive nursery. The well-bred Tobermory, related to seven winners, duly made a winning start to her career when making all at Nottingham 17 days ago, a result that was fully expected as she started a well backed favourite to oblige. She may not have beaten much, but did it in such a professional manner that it is a little surprising to see her go the nursery route, as she seems capable of better, and may even turn out to be Listed class in time. With that in mind, it is hard to field against her and she can show her class again under Philip Robinson. Reebal finally got his head in front in a conditions event at Ripon, making all, and he will no doubt take the selection on for the lead. He will go on the ground, but may meet his match here. Another True Story is slightly worse off at the weights with Brenin Gwalia for the half-length that separated them at Goodwood and there should be little between that pair, while Oldjoesaid looked a nice sprinter when taking his maiden at Sandown and should go well on his nursery bow. A decent juvenile contest can go to Tobermory who should go on to better things.
