In depth

Verdict

GILWEN GLORY has a bit to prove after last time but her previous form makes her the one to beat here, with Far From Blonde likely to get heavily involved. The Evan Williams-trained selection was a beaten favourite at Plumpton on soft ground last time, and stamina looks to be her forte. The extra furlong won't be a problem and her autumn form was good in the context of this, so she may be able to successfully concede weight all round. Far From Blonde represents the champion trainer and being by Presenting then she should handle a sound surface now tried on it for the first time. Clearly, she is taking a little time to come to hand, but you would not rule out a win with improvement likely. Call At Midnight looks a serious player and she has been unfortunate to meet the useful Banjaxed Girl on three successive occasions. Good ground suits, though she does have to prove her stamina over this far. Conversely, there may be more to come from Lady Jinks now stepped up in trip and a market check is advised, though preference is for Gilwen Glory.
