    Verdict

Point-to-point winner Clondaw Hero is worth noting on his debut under Rules while both Grape Tree Flame and Balmusette made promising introductions when placed at Worcester and Bangor respectively. However, MUTANAWWER is just preferred as he had a subsequent winner behind when third at Perth last time and normal progress should see him off the mark. Tony McCoy's presence on newcomer Ruperra Tom takes the eye and fellow debutant Wotsthecatch is also worth noting as he's a half-brother to the useful jumper Snowy Morning.
