EDGEFOUR, Je Ne Sais Plus and Overspin look the main protagonists here, with preference for Edgefour to confirm earlier superiority over Je Ne Sais Plus. Overspin had been something of a disappointment before turning in a much improved display to be third at Huntingdon last time. He is lightly raced and open to further improvement, though his ability to handle this slower surface has to be taken on trust. Edgefour returned after an absence to slam his rivals at Southwell two outings ago, with Je Ne Sais Plus well beaten in fourth. Edgefour travelled well for much of the way at Fakenham last time, before a blunder at the last may have cost him victory. Je Ne Sais Plus won emphatically at Fakenham last time, but there is no reason, on the same terms, why he should reverse the Southwell form. Edgefour can atone for that recent defeat.
