Verdict

There may be more to come from Pure Anticipation after only two runs over fences. Avenging Ace has promised more than he's delivered so far, however, while Stormyisland Ahead has been well below par since scoring at Ffos Las in the spring and is now tried in a visor. The Good Guy took a while to get on top at Stratford last time and an 8lb higher mark may scupper his hat-trick bid so we'll side with RUDIGREEN, who was only beaten a length-and-a-half at Worcester last week and can race off the same mark. Croco Mister might need this and usually finds at least one too good in any case.
