Verdict

These look to be quite closely matched. Glenstar has dropped 14lb in the ratings since a year ago and showed a bit more dash at Kilbeggan and though Edmundo is still a maiden over fences he's produced some decent efforts and should get into the argument. Claragh Native is another maiden over fences after 14 starts but his recent runs have been on ground too quick and these are more like his conditions. Like The Da seems nicely weighted but has only been placed once in 10 starts over fences and, as he was a long way behind ISLAND PEAK at Clonmel around this time a year ago, it's Mikey O'Connor's charge who gets the vote despite a couple of moderate efforts already this month.
