David Marnane's horses are in such good form that Countess Salome must be given a chance on her handicap debut as she improved behind Truth Seeking at Leopardstown. CINNIN OIR has held her form well throughout the year and gained her second success with a convincing performance at Galway. She's up 6lb for that but looks capable of defying the extra. Beauthea, who was fourth that day, has a nice weight advantage and has run well subsequently but the winner can get the better of her again. Mrs Batt ran well in an apprentice handicap here last time and can race from the same mark while place punters are likely to latch on to Purple Land, who continues to run well without quite managing to get there.
