Verdict

Templer looks the class act here but does have to concede weight all round and is probably better on a faster surface. His stable is also struggling for winners at present so we'll take him on DIVINE INTAVENTION, who does most of his winning in the point-to-point field but also has some decent form under Rules including a defeat of the useful Bob Hall at Market Rasen last May. Jack's The Lad scored between the flags at Whitfield in December and the mare Kiama will also lack nothing in fitness, but the fences keep getting in the way for Armenian Boy and Gershwinner and Marigolds Way may just need this.
