Spate River may have just needed the run when third to Jawhary at Towcester in May and is sure to be popular with punters here. Kapdor chased home the in-form Billy Blade, who runs in the previous race, at Newton Abbot last month but Stop The Show is 8lb higher than when successful at Towcester in May and is a little one-paced. SAFE INVESTMENT has been placed in three of his last four starts over fences and can race off a 5lb lower mark over hurdles. He was a very easy winner of this race 12 months ago and is probably the one to beat again.
