The market will offer most clues in this affair and we side with Red Cell at the principal expense of Bahamian Babe and Hartshead Flyer. Two year old winners have been a speciality of Eoghan O'Neill in the past and with the trainer having to strike out without John Fretwell's support, he'll be keen to make an early impression. A 12000gns purchase at the sales, he is related to winners over further and is the most expensive of those that have gone through the ring. Bahamian Babe warrants respect with Jamie Spencer aboard. The filly has a pedigree that has plenty of pace. Hartshead Flyer has already had the unkindest cut of all. Dispol Bertie is from a yard that enjoyed plenty of success of late and cannot be ignored at bigger prices. Kings House looks a fun purchase at just 800 guineas. Red Cell appears to have most positives on paper and he is our tentative pick on the racecourse.
Red Cell (IRE) Kheleyf colt, half-brother to winning sprinter Nebraska Lady.
Hartshead Flyer (IRE) Modigliani gelding out of a lightly-raced mare.
Kings House Mujahid colt out of a lightly-raced mare.
Bahamian Babe Bahamian Bounty filly, sister to winning sprinter Victorian Bounty.
Dispol Bertie Bertolini colt, half-brother to winners on the flat and over hurdles.
