      Verdict

      Push Me and Persian Peril have been well beaten over hurdles of late while Bethan and Short Shrift have been struggling on the Polytrack. The latter may improve for the longer trip while Royal Marskell went close in an amateurs event at Lingfield last time. PERIVALE has cut little ice on the Polytrack recently but she can race off a 5lb lower mark today with an apprentice's allowance taken into account. A speculative vote goes her way in the hope she'll improve for a switch to the Fibresand.
