In depth

Verdict

Niamh's Way produced a real shock when beating Millrock Lady at Perth and would be an obvious threat to all in that kind of form. DUROOB is in superb form and won easily at Roscommon on Tuesday. A 6lbs penalty makes life more difficult but his regular pilot can use his claim so the burden may not prevent a quick follow-up. Quai Du Roi was just over four lengths behind the selection at Down Royal in May and the weights are in his favour but the winner did it nicely and is expected to confirm the form. Carutomark goes from strength-to-strength and completed a quick double early last week. She loves the fast ground and the trip is ideal so Paul Magnier's mare looks a real danger.
