Verdict

Six favourites have won this in ten years though last year's winner was 16/1. KASSIA cost 180,000 euros and is a half-sister to two winners. She attracted strong support on her debut at Ascot and though unable to cope with Besharah she ran very well and can go one better. Katie Canford was a 100/1 chance on her opening run at Lingfield but belied those odds with a fair run and she should improve. Fashionable Spirit made a promising start at Chelmsford before finding a couple too quick in the Lily Agnes at Chester but that was by no means a disgrace. Modest is by Kyllachy out of a speedy mare and our Joy is a half-sister to a Group 1 winner in Hong Kong. None of the remainder should be ruled out including Justice Angel, a half-sister to the very useful Success Days.
