Verdict

NIGHT CARNATION did just enough to win at York last time and should take care of subsequent winner Move In Time, The Thrill Is Gone and Margot Did once again. Andrew Balding's filly was more impressive when cruising to victory over C&D on her penultimate start with Ahtoug a couple of lengths behind and she looks ready for this step up in class. The latter has won at Chester since and should figure once again here, but Dinkum Diamond could prove a bigger threat as he found plenty of trouble in running at Newbury last time but had gone close in the Abernant before that. Arctic Feeling never recovered from a slow start at Epsom last time but has the beating of Pabusar on their running at Ascot last September and is capable of better here.
