This looks a really good opportunity for CARCINETTO who can get the better of Artistic License and Pretty Bonnie. The selection went close last time out, she has plum draw today and if she can reproduce the form she showed when chasing home Lesson In Humility at Nottingham then she should take plenty of beating. Artistic License has some useful form on the all-weather but she has not been quite as effective on the turf. She put in a career-best effort at Lingfield last time so she can't be discounted but we are prepared to look elsewhere. Pretty Bonnie is a daughter of Kyllachy and she won in decent style when beating Orange Pip at Kempton. This is tougher but she remains unexposed and it would be no surprise to see further progress which would make her competitive. Angus Newz is a course and distance winner who has a good draw for a frontrunner, and she wasn't beaten far at Chester last time out. She could represent some value in the race, but a safer option looks to be Carcinetto who gets our nomination.
