Verdict

SCARLET PRINCE had Little Red Minx, who runs in the previous race, four lengths behind when winning a maiden at Thirsk a week ago. This doesn't look much tougher and Tony Coyle's charge can follow up as the longer trip should suit. Dr Irv was placed over 2m in maiden company last month but recent Musselburgh winner Stormy Morning makes more appeal despite a 4lb rise as he had the re-opposing Hi Dancer behind in an amateurs' event over 1m5f. It's hard to make a serious case for any of the remainder.
