Verdict

ARMELLE just came up short when bidding for a hat-trick over track and trip last week when White Flag was behind. Louis Steward takes off 3lb today and, if a draw against the stands' rail doesn't prove a disadvantage, Scott Dixon's filly can recapture the winning thread. McCarthy Mor is still a maiden but has prospects at this level while Brighton second Ecliptic Sunrise should go well. Thirsk scorer Liliargh, Ad Vitam and Pull The Pin are others likely to be thereabouts if getting the run of the race.
