    Verdict

Conjuror can deliver on the promise of several good efforts this term and is selected ahead of Digital and the lightly raced Trafalgar Square. That said, Young Mr Grace does not have too much to find to get involved at this level and is worth keeping tabs on in the betting. Recent efforts have suggested that Tim Easterby's charge is on his way back and he will be a dangerous factor to leave out of the equation. Trafalgar Square has more scope than most of these and arrives here in good heart. He will need to settle better than he did at Sandown to give himself a better chance of getting home today but, with his three-year-olds allowance helping his cause, it will be no surprise to see him go very close. Digital ended a long losing run earlier in the season and has held his form well since then. However, he does have a tendency to leave himself with too much to do and can never be backed with maximum confidence. Therefore, we prefer to take a chance with Conjuror, who is well worth another crack at seven furlongs. The son of Efisio has run commendably in each of his eight previous starts this term and fully deserves a change of fortune. This is Conjuror's first try in a classified stakes and with only 4lb separating the sextet on the official BHB ratings, he rates as the best value in a tricky race to fathom
