Verdict

The combination of Tony Martin and Ruby Walsh looks hard to resist and EASY VIC should gain compensation for his controversial disqualification at Limerick. Without doubt the best horse on the day, he was deemed to have interfered with runner-up The Blarney Rose and thrown out and connections won't be pleased with a 4lb rise but he's still very well treated and this should be his day. Knocklayde Vic made a very promising comeback after a long lay-off at Fairyhouse last month and Gordon Elliott will have him spot-on while Day Dream Boy, a winner over slightly shorter here in February, remains in good form and was battling on when runner-up at Wexford last time when Western Man, who got squeezed out approaching the last, wasn't far behind.
