ONEMIX can take the opener on the card, while J'Adhere and Alwaysonthemove are respected in opposition. The selection was a beaten favourite when last seen out over a similar trip at Taunton. She receives the fillies' allowance, which is one plus, while she acts well on this ground and although beaten last time, she showed improvement for her hurdling debut. This is arguably an easier assignment and we will side with her. Alwaysonthemove showed some reasonable bumper form without winning but found his Sandown hurdles introduction too hot to handle. Even so, that experience won't have been lost on him and he could show more this time. J'Adhere won a Folkestone bumper first time up last year but has so far failed to live up to expectations over timber. He would welcome some ease in the ground, but is worth a try at this trip again and is not ruled out. Simone Martini would be interesting if backed on this first start over hurdles and his best Flat form would give him claims, though he has been on the downgrade in that sphere and this might be plenty sharp enough for him. Onemix is taken to score.
