In depth

Verdict

TENOR made a winning handicap debut at Yarmouth last week. He only scored by a neck but is open to further progress and most of the opposition are looking to put bad recent runs behind them. That includes both Purple 'n Gold and Lady Macduff, with the latter preferred as she drops in class, while No Dominion is another with the past form to figure if back to his best. Take Two has looked in the handicapper's grip since landing a double back in April, although he's back racing in the same grade today for the first time since those successes.
