      Verdict

Rain may not benefit TEEKY and would suit some of her rivals but with the ground currently described as good we'll side with the Gosden runner. Welsh Anthem and Rose Row are amongst a host of dangers. The selection showed promise in both starts at two, staying on to finish within 5 lengths of Leocorno on the second of them. There was nothing wrong with her return to action in the context of this race whilst she looked in need of further on her handicap bow at Nottingham. She gets that here but rain is an unknown. Welsh Anthem ran well enough on soft on debut to believe that precipitation won't be a problem and she'll head many short-lists following a narrow defeat by a Sir Mark Prescott hotpot at Bath; she may stay this far. Rain would be required for Rose Row to blossom in this company as her best performances have been with cut in the ground. She failed to run her race last time but can't be dismissed in this company. Jabroot is unexposed and tried in headgear whilst support for Chanrossa and Maid Of Stone would take the eye but Proficiency has more solid claims having responded well to headgear and she could improve for this stiffer test. The selection though is Teeky.
