In depth

Verdict

EASTER VIC had won over 3m at Ayr before finding one too good over a shorter trip at this track on her latest start. Robert Goldie's mare can return to winning ways here at the chief expense of Vallani. The latter had an off day behind the selection last time, but is better than that as her previous win at Musselburgh demonstrates, and she can finish much closer today. Wheyaye is a 2m6f winner at Wetherby and there could be more to come from her stepping up in distance.
