Verdict

Scots Dragoon has been a good servant to Nicky Henderson over the years but has disappointed in both outings this term so looks best left out of calculations in a race taken to go to SARDE. Kim Bailey has his string in fine form at present and the six-year-old won with plenty in hand when successful at Market Rasen last week so a 5lb rise for that win may not prevent him from following up. Alan King's Rustarix has the beating of Noun De La Thinte on running at Cheltenham earlier this month and rates a bigger danger than Jaunty Journey, although the last mentioned is trained by Nigel Twiston-Davies so cannot be discounted.
