Verdict

Saeed Bin Suroor's Dawnbreak won a shade more comfortably than the winning margin of a neck would suggest when making a winning debut at Lingfield on the Polytrack earlier this month and she has every chance of following up in this conditions race but preference is for BOOGIE DIVA, who gets the vote ahead of Ferris Wheel. Paul Cole's filly stepped up from a promising debut effort when winning an auction maiden at Kempton in good fashion. She like Dawnbreak does have a penalty to carry for that success and may struggle to defy it. Richard Hannon's Moonline Dancer is another with a penalty to a carry having won narrowly in a maiden over course and distance last month. She hung quite badly late on in the race that day and there should be more to come from the daughter of Royal Academy. There are some interesting newcomers in the field here including Gerard Butler's Giant's Causeway filly Maristar, Mick Channon's Ramayana and Red Fantasy, from the stable of Barry Hills but it is hard to get away from Boogie Diva. Marco Botti's filly has run well in both starts, having run promisingly when a close third on her debut in a Redcar maiden before finding just Pollenator too good in a Newmarket maiden last month. Both of those races were over seven furlongs, the drop back to six should not inconvenience the daughter of Tobougg and she is taken to gain an deserved first success receiving weight from her main rivals.
