      Verdict

Rimth finished ahead of Mortitia and Sharnberry when runner-up to Hooray in the Cheveley Park in October, reversing earlier Ayr running with Brian Meehan's filly. She isn't certain to stay the extra furlong here however. Ponteneovo was third in the Prix Morny when trained by Yves De Nicolay in France last year but may be best watched on her first start for Roger Charlton, though she still holds a 1000 Guineas entry as does CAPE DOLLAR. The Cape Cross filly should stay further this year but had enough speed to see off Cochabamba in the Group 2 Rockfel Stakes over this trip at Newmarket in the autumn and already boasts winning form over this C&D on quicker ground - she gets the vote. Eucharist won four times in her first season and is a likeable sort but this represents a step up in grade.
