In depth

Verdict

Ascot Gold Cup hero Fame And Glory is in a different league to these rivals in staying events and had the pace to land the 2010 Coronation Cup. He won this on his reappearance last year and will be at short odds for a repeat but the concession of 10lb to the race-fit and in-form UNACCOMPANIED may prove too much. Dermot Weld's mare had been in good form over hurdles during the winter and returned to the Flat to beat Rising Wind over this C&D last month. She looks a decent alternative to the favourite. Steps To Freedom did well over timber and can fight it out for a place.
