In depth

Verdict

This revolves around the fitness, or possible lack of it, of Nine De Sivola, who incredibly is still officially a beginner over fences despite a record that includes finishing second in the Irish and Scottish Nationals. He hasn't been seen since pulling up in the Scottish National in April 2009 and will have bigger fish to fry in the spring. ON HIS OWN could be the one to take advantage if Ferdy Murphy's charge needs this despite making his chasing bow. The Irish point-to-point and bumper winner has always looked a likely chaser though he didn't look at home over hurdles at Cheltenham on New Year's Day and will need to jump much better. Sue Bradburne's pair Rossini's Dancer and Soldiers Tree are very moderate but Irish raider Posh Bird jumps well and will appreciate stepping up in trip.
