In depth

Verdict

PARC DES PRINCES has improved this year having been stepped up in distance. He won over 2m3f at Market Rasen in August and has also scored over 2m here. There appears no reason why he won't go close again after his latest second at Huntingdon. Stars Du Granits came back to form at Taunton last month and had a little more in hand than the official margin suggests. But he does have a penalty to carry while though Switched Off won on the Flat in September he is high enough in the weights back over timber. Schelm and Easement could figure at their best but have been below that of late.
