        Verdict

        MUSHREQ gets the vote as though he needed his first two runs here a year ago he then scored twice including a Group 2. He's more likely to be ready this time, as is stablemate David Livingston, well beaten on his only start here a year ago but later a Group 2 winner at Haydock. Dux Scholar was in tremendous form at last year's Carnival and continued in the same vein throughout though he's rarely run at a trip this far. The lightly-raced Tales Of Grimm, beaten a short-head in a Newmarket Group 3 in October, and the consistent Gabrial, represent Richard Fahey while Burano ran well for Brian Meehan here last year. Artigiano, twice runner-up in Group 2's in the UK as a juvenile, hasn't run since the Breeders' Cup meeting of that year.
