In depth

Verdict

A much tougher handicap to fathom with several of these arriving in good form but PASCHENDALE is given the vote. The UK import was having only the fourth run of his career when scoring over 7f at Abu Dhabi in December then stepped up to 1m2f on this track to gain an emphatic victory over Amazon River with Bawadi and the favourite Radegund Abbey among those behind. Five Cents had just under two lengths to spare over Al Marmoom on dirt at Jebel Ali last week and should confirm the form on these terms but fourth-placed Dynamic Saint, who will appreciate the longer trip and has Kieren Fallon on board, can reverse the form with the pair of them. Trust N Dunstan is a long-time maiden but is rarely beaten far and, if his young rider can make good use of his 10lb claim, he could get involved at the business end.
