In depth

Verdict

Option Money and Lambrini Leader have both shown winning form in bumpers already and are bound to have their supporters but both may struggle under their penalties and preference is for the newcomer Apollo Creed who represents the bang in-form yard of Nigel Twiston-Davies. The selection is a well related son of Rudimentary and already has winning form in point-to-points. Given the form of the yard's runners, he looks worth chancing. A market move for Evelith Regent would be of interest, while Foxspur is another that is bred to be useful and has to be respected. Simonside showed ability on his Perth debut and is another worthy of a mention but Nigel Twiston-Davies has his string in fine form and preference is for Apollo Creed.
