Verdict

Only Desert Fairy of these had had a recent run and she looks decidedly moderate. Toubeera's defeats of Pollystone and Letsby Avenue in the spring worked out well and she's clearly useful. But she has to give 14lb to her rivals which include winning pointer Forgivienne and Ellnando Queen, who was only beaten a length in a Market Rasen bumper in April. MIDNIGHT CATARIA was well backed in a Southwell bumper in May but couldn't quicken. The longer trip here should suit and, as she's only a four-year-old, she may have more scope than some of these. Alan King's filly gets the nod.
