Verdict

Rathnaleen Kal led close home over 2m2f at Cork but was engaged in the 3.10 here yesterday. EL CHAMPO hadn't shown much before scoring with a bit to spare at Kilbeggan and though up 7lb still looks on a reasonable mark. Moonovercloon has been raised 9lb for a comfortable victory at Sligo so this looks tougher but Gold Speed was returning from a break when runner-up at Galway and another big run is expected. Mighty Mo Missouri disappointed at Kilbeggan after winning a maiden there while Clifftop is still a maiden after 13 starts over timber though ran better at Bellewstown last time.
