Brendan Powell has his string in fine form at present and, while slightly disappointing last time, his representative here Tender The Great looks worth another chance judged by earlier form at gets the verdict dropped in trip today over Osiris Way and Texas Gold. The last mentioned is not as good as he once was but has been showing decent form of late and should again be thereabouts. New York Oscar has paid the penalty at the hands of the handicapper for his wins here last month, while Spoof Master has shown all of his best form over the minimum trip and is has yet to show that he stays the extra furlong. Osiris Way has shown progressive form and is closely matched with New York Oscar on running here last month so has to be respected but marginal preference is for Tender The Great.
