There are plenty in with chance in this fillies' handicap and the nomination goes the way of ASSENT over Tikka Masala, Azharia and Volochkova. The selection was only beaten a neck by Just Timmy Marcus at Wolverhampton last time, form that has a solid look to it. She was returning from a break that day so there should be more to come and this progressive filly can get her head in front. Azharia is a lightly-raced filly but she ran no sort of race last time and she is probably best watched on her handicap debut. Tom Dascombe's Tikka Masala looked a hot prospect when chasing home Respite at the start of the month and it would be no surprise if she went close on her handicap debut. Volochkova was well beaten in a maiden at Yarmouth last time and it is hard to get too excited about that form. Perfect Friend went close in a handicap at Kempton back in November and she may have needed the run after a break last time. An open event and the vote goes to Assent.
