Verdict

PACK LEADER stands out in this. Placed in much better maiden races at Goodwood last year, he's rated 89 and the champion jockey takes over the reins as Amanda Perrett's charge returns to action. Conquerant found stablemate Personal Opinion too good on the Polytrack in November and the latter went on to win a handicap while Gold Approach made the frame at Wolverhampton last time but a rating of 73 gives him plenty to find with the selection. The newcomer Exclusive Contract is a half-sister to four winners but will need to be above average to get the better of Pack Leader.
