        Verdict

        MUNIFICENT was having only his second outing after being gelded when winning at Wolverhampton. He’s also slid down the weights and a 2lb rise may not be enough to anchor him in this. Moveonup ended a long losing run when returning a surprise winner at Southwell while Hope Springs and Big Time Maybe have placed off similar marks recently but The Defiant has plenty to find with the selection.
