Verdict

Venetia Williams has her horses in good form so winning bumper Syndication is likely to show improvement for his hurdling debut at Fontwell. Diamond Sweeper showed promise in bumpers and will have undoubtedly benefited from his opening run over timber at Chepstow while Fermoyle Flyer did better than his 100/1 starting price would have suggested at Bangor last time. Irish point-to-point winner BALLYGARVEY showed nothing in his first two runs over hurdles which is why he started 125/1 at Chepstow last time. However, he belied his odds with a superb display behind the potentially useful Broadbackbob and would only need to repeat that effort to take this.
