In depth

Verdict

A stronger line-up than normal with the usual mix of talents on view including several useful hurdlers. Rossvos scored over hurdles at Galway last August and hasn't had much racing since. His earlier form on the Flat points to his chances and Katie Walsh will ensure he gets a good ride. Caim Hill won one of these at Wexford before a fine run behind Victrix Gale over hurdles at Listowel and he's one to keep an eye on as is Benash, who ran a tremendous race behind Snap Tie at the Punchestown Festival and has been chasing. Deutschland never got going in a similar event here last weekend and Endless Intrigue could need the run after a long break, a remark that also applies to Kalleshan, who had won four of his last six races when last seen scoring at Galway in 2010. THE REAL ARTICLE is a high-class hurdler who reverted to the Flat and comfortably landed one of these at Killarney last month. He has a small penalty to carry but should be capable of going in again.
