In depth

Verdict

Waaheb gained an impressive success over the C&D last month though what he beat is another matter as it was a newcomers event. His winner's penalty gives him a stiff task against KICK FOR TOUCH, who went into many notebooks with a fine debut second to the well regarded Cash And Go on very heavy ground at Thurles and Charles O'Brien's charge looks good enough for this. Baile Fearainn was behind Waaheb here but will have come on for the run and has a 7lb pull. Jessica Harrington's newcomer Jenari is related to the decent pair Jetson and Jered and is worth noting for the future.
